Father

Rapper, producer, and label founder Father is the central architect and driving force behind Atlanta’s influential Awful Records collective. Known for his deadpan delivery and minimalist, bass-heavy self-production, he catalyzed a new wave of independent internet rap with his breakout 2014 anthem "Look at Wrist" and acclaimed projects like Who's Gonna Get Fucked First?. By building a lawless, DIY creative incubator, his vision shifted the cultural landscape, blending subversive humor, raw punk-rap energy, and a distinct lo-fi aesthetic that redefined the boundaries of underground hip-hop.
